In The Late hours of Thursday, 20 April 2017 at about 8:50pm tragedy struck in Calabar in which more than 50 young people were killed after a high tension cable fell on the building they occupied.
The incident toke place at Nyahasang along Atimbo axis of Calabar Municipality, Cross River State.
the affected building was built with zinc under high tension cables.
After 20 minutes the incident occurred, police men were seen evacuating both the dead and the wounded.
