One Emeka Okeke survived after his Toyota Corrola rammed into an electric pole at Happy home junction, Kirikiri area of Lagos on Sunday.
The pole fell on top of the car, but the driver escaped unhurt.
According to a witness, Ibrahim Muktar, who spoke to Daily Sun, he was going to the mosque when he saw a car dash into a gutter and then hit a pole around 3.15pm.
Emeka, who was in a confused state, said:
"I don’t know how this happened. I was just driving when i noticed my front tire burst. I wasn’t even on full speed, I just swerved my vehicle so as to park it and before I knew it, my car had hit a NEPA pole.I called my brother to help me because I am confused at the moment,” he said.
