The 2nd edition of
British Council Business Acceleration Bootcamp is here with a road tour
to Calabar, Kano and Abuja.
The
bootcamp is part of British Council THRIVE Campaign, a series of activities
which supports the growth ambitions of young people to develop the requisite
skills needed to build sustainable livelihoods. These activities include
information sessions, bootcamps, networking and connect events etc. All these
activities work towards providing access to skills, connections and top-class
resources required to start and scale businesses.
Each bootcamp is
tailored to suit the needs of entrepreneurs at different stages in their
business development process. They will include interactive workshops and
mentor-led sessions delivered by UK and Nigerian experts with experience in
building, investing and supporting the growth of businesses around the world.
By the end of each
session we expect that participants will have;
§ Engaged
with and learnt from a cross section of experts and professionals from Nigeria
and the UK
§ Developed
the capacity and capability to build more viable and sustainable businesses
§ Improved
their ability to present and sell your services, products & business
Applications deadline
– 9 February 2018.
Entries submitted after
the given deadline will not be accepted. Please note you may be
disqualified if your business does not fit the stage required for the bootcamp
you apply for.
Only shortlisted
applicants from Stage I will be contacted to participate in Stage II of the
application process. Applicants successful in both stages will then be
invited for the bootcamp they have applied for.
