For four days, the public have been waiting for the announcement of the new royal baby’s name and the royal family's website may have dropped a hint about the child's name.
Eagle-eyed royal fans spotted a rather interesting sign on the royal family’s website on Thursday night. It seems a new page has been set up dedicated to the new royal Prince, and from the look of things, he may have been named Prince Albert.
If you try searching for the name Prince Albert on the royal family’s website, by typing in http://www.royal.uk/prince-albert into a search engine, a page on the royal family’s website displays "access denied".
The same happens if you try searching for Prince George and Princess Charlotte's names by typing in http://www.royal.uk/prince-george or http://www.royal.uk/princess-charlotte.
Prince Albert's page
This most likely means the name Prince Albert has been reserved for the child but his information is kept private from the public, just like his brother and sister's.
To cross check this, people tried searching for other names which the baby could likely be given, but what was displayed on the royal website was "page not found", meaning there are no royals with that name.
Interestingly, Prince Harry’s page – http://www.royal.uk/prince-harry – is working as normal.
People are convinced the new prince has been named Albert but they are still waiting for the royal family to confirm it. Kate Middleton and Prince William revealed George and Charlotte’s names two days after they were born, but they’re still yet to tell the public what they have named the new Prince
