It is imperative to know how God does His things. Many people do not know that anyone that praises God, He would praise that person back and give him or her authority. A person that honours God, God will honour the person.
In fact, people do not see God, but people see his prophets and people need to obey and believe them. But the rich man was cast in hell fire in heaven saw Lazarus on the chest of Abraham. Then, he pleaded with God to allow him come back to the world to tell his brothers what he saw in heaven, so that his brothers could change their ungodly way of life.
He was told that if they refuse to obey the prophets, they too would be thrown into hell fire (Luke 19:31). If God is ready to appear and talk to a person, that person would run away would not answer. But if it is human, the person would not run away. It is the humans God send to humans because the humans would be ready to listen. God would not send monster. What people need to do is to respect the word of God. What did Abra-ham do to glorify God? He too obeyed and respected God.
Abraham was a wealthy man. Even his wife had many maid-servants out which she gave one to Abraham to sleep with. His bro-ther Lot had servants and flocks too. His family was controlling the land they were in, governing the territory. So for Abraham to leave his comfort zone to answer God’s call, was when he started glorifying God. Genesis 12 :1-5 The Lord had said to Abram. Leave your country, your people and your father’s household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you a great nation and I will bless you. I will make your name great and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, whoever curses you I will curse and all the people on the earth will be bless through you.
So Abram did as the Lord had told him and Lot went with him. Abram was 75 years old when he set out from Haran. He took his wife, Sarai, his nephew Lot, all possessions they had accumulated and the people they had acquired in Haran and set for the land of Canaan and arrived there”.
Abram was wealthy before God called him. I always tell people if God should call you, you must have got all it takes to be a prophet of God. Some people would say they lost a child or job before they answered God’s call. I always disagree with them that such a call is that of satan, not God because God would not call a person without giving the person the required tools to do His work. For instance, I had built houses, had a wife and children and living in splendor before I was called.
